Sue Palmer earned her associates degree in paralegal studies from Hesser College in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She has more than 14 years of experience as a paralegal in many facets of the legal field, largely specializing in family law. Sue is a native to the Chicago area and in 2007 moved back to southwest suburbs. Sue is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association. Sue has been with us since 2014 having a strong work ethic, dedication, and professional manner, among other many assets she brings to our firm.
Sue feels her most important role as a paralegal is assisting clients with the upmost compassion during this stressful point in their lives and to listen, help them understand the process, and to encourage them through a difficult time.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys the outdoors, long walks with her four-legged little boy, cooking, gardening, and fitness. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
In the 30 years that Kara has worked for The Offices of Edward R. Jaquays, she has held many roles including administrative assistance, paralegal, and is presently the office manager. This has given Kara extensive knowledge of not only family law, but also in appellate and collection matters. Kara’s dedication to not only the office, but to the quality of work our clients receive makes her one of the most important assets to our office.
